Titanians believe interplanetary colonization insures elongated survival of our species.

When receiving the Royal Society's Copley medal in 2006 Steven Hawking stated to the BBC “The long-term survival of the human race is at risk as long as it is confined to a single planet.” He also said, “Sooner or later, disasters such as an asteroid collision or nuclear war could wipe us all out” Our group (Titanians) believe that the human population is vulnerable to extinction from global and cosmic catastrophes, and if our species is to survive such catastrophic events; then we should start interplanetary colonization to increase our chances of survival.

In 2005 NASA Administrator, Mike Griffin stated, "I know that humans will colonize the solar system and one day go beyond."  He also stated that interplanetary colonization is the ultimate goal of the space flight program. He believed that in order for humans to survive for hundreds of millions of years we will have to populate other planets. The human population is vulnerable to extinction from global catastrophes such as asteroid collisions, nuclear war, a massive solar event or even a virus. Also overpopulation will cause Earth’s planetary resources to deplete to critical levels.  In our group we discussed that if our species were to survive these types of catastrophic events; then we should start interplanetary colonization to increase our chance of survival.  Interplanetary colonization, not to be confused with interstellar colonization, is the colonization of planets inside our solar system. It is hypothesized that many planetary bodies in our solar system can be terraformed to support human life.  Our group (Titanians) supports the hypothesis that interplanetary colonization is not only possible but is something we are already striving toward with NASA’s space program.  Our motto is “To boldly go where no man has gone before and make them homes.”

So, I was watching "The Universe" last night, which is a show on the History Channel that is about stuff in the universe, and it was talking the colonization of Mars. Well any who, I remember Interplanetary Colonization was a hot debate topic in my debate class and so I thought it would be cool to talk about it here. 

So here it goes...

Interplanetary colonization, not to be confused with interstellar colonization, is the colonizing of planets inside are solar system. There is a large group of people that say interplanetary colonization is a possibility in are species future. Mars and some of Jupiter’s moons like Titan are hypnotized to be terraformable. However, like I said before Interplanetary Colonization is a hot debate topic.

Should we do it or should we not and why?

I believe we should colonize are solar system.

Hard Skills

Majority of my hard skills are in the video median. I know how to use a camera and the industry standard for video editing software, which is9 Final Cut Pro, yet I'm more fluent in Adobe Premiere. Also I have hard skills at using keying effects (green screen stuff). Another hard skill I have, which is not directly related to the video median, is I know how to use Photoshop. 

Soft Skills

I’m a very reliable person that you can count on showing up. I like to dance and perform and have a great interest in doing musical videos. I also have a positive attitude almost all the time.
